The pathway from source to beautifully crafted end-product can be extremely murky. Now consumers are placing increasing value on ethical integrity and want to know exactly where gemstones have come from, where they were produced, and under what sort of conditions. So how can you, as a jeweller, embed ethical sourcing and sustainability effectively into your practice.

Join Fair Luxury for a lively discussion on how jewellers can establish responsible supply chains from source to market:

  • Stuart Poole (Nineteen48) and Victoria Gronwald (Levin Sources) - Ethical Choice in Jewellery Sourcing - What to consider and where to start.
  • Sarah Greenway (Mosami) - The Ethical Consumer - Who she is and how to talk to her.
  • Amanda Li Hope, Anna Loucah, Arabel Lebrusan and Jon Dibben - Ethical Jewellery in Action – Leading jewellers share their experiences.

Be inspired and develop new relationships and forge links with others passionate about sustainability and social responsibility in the jewellery and creative industries.

Complimentary drinks will be served from 6pm and the talk starts at 6.30pm.

The evening will also present an opportunity to view Fair Luxury Presents, a selling exhibition of jewellery with ethical provenance, bringing together exceptionally skilled craftspeople who are key champions of responsible sourcing and sustainability. A selection of photographs taken by Magnum Photos photographer Ian Berry will also be on show, tracing the journey of gold from Fairtrade mine sites visited in 2016 to the London based jewellery workshops.
